Building Sheets

ACRYLIC

acrylic is methyl methacrylate and comes in the form of transparent and colored plates of different sizes. It is an alternative to polycarbonate when extreme strength and high thermal resistance are not necessary. It is often preferred because of its mild properties, ease of handling, and naturally UV resistance. Scratch-resistant properties are better than other conventional transparent plastic sheets such as polycarbonate, the surface features up to 92% of visible light and gives a reflection of approximately 4% from each surface due to the refractive index

Properties

  • Excellent thermoforming capabilities
  • 92% light transmission
  • weather resistance
  • Resistant to inorganic acids
  • Suitable for contact with food
  • Max continuous operating temperature 70°C
  • Maximum intermittent operating temperature 90°C

Uses

  • For advertising and visual communication
  • corporate identity
  • POS/POP display and advertising
  • Museum covers
  • Exhibitions and trade fairs
  • Appreciation Awards
  • Banners
  • Architecture and construction
  • Aquariums / Skeletal Panels
  • cladding
  • Awnings for doors and balustrades
